Dad joke alert:

I want a good body - just not as much as I want dessert!

To be fair, it's Easter weekend, and I'm surrounded by a sea of delicious things - how am I supposed to resist pickled fish, hot cross buns, and the obscene amount of Easter chocolate treats that have magically appeared?

This is a quick and easy dessert - Using Only Two Ingredients!

Yup, fast, simple, looks good, tastes great - everything I love when I want dessert. It's even better because it's very pretty and easy to adapt to anyone's taste.

It's pretty, it's wobbly, it's delicious. Divide the mixture in half if you don't need to make a lot. Or don't, it's yummy and you'll want seconds.

What you need:

80g each of 2 different jellies - I chose red and green because I love the flavour combination

1 1/2 cups of hot water for each jelly

2 x 380ml tins of Evaporated milk

What to do:

In a glass jug, put in 80g of the first jelly, add in 1 1/2 cups of hot water and stir until dissolved.

Let it cool for 15 minutes.

Stir in 380ml (1 tin) of condensed milk.

Pour into individual silicone moulds, or one large one if you're going for a centrepiece dessert. Only fill half way.

(This amount filled 12 little silicone cupcake moulds, with a bit left over for another larger individual, secret one for me, lol)

Chill in the fridge for 2 hours

Repeat for your second jelly (disslove in 1 1/2 cups of hot water, wait, mix in the evaporated milk)

Pour the second mixture on top of the first (set) mixture.

Chill for 2 hours.

Done! Unmould when ready and serve!

Score: 9/10 golden spatulas  - definitely a winner

Puppy paw of approval:  She never even got to see it, lol

Teen nod of acknowledgment:

Family verdict: Burp plus bonus points for how good it looked :-)
